Arunachal Pradesh was formed from the North-East Frontier Agency (NEFA) region, and India declared it as a state on 20 February 1987. Itanagar is its capital and largest town. It borders the Indian states of Assam and Nagaland to the south. It shares international borders with Bhutan in the west, Myanmar in the east.
Arunachal Pradesh has among the highest diversity of mammals and birds in India. There are around 750 species of birds and more than 200 species of mammals in the state. Arunachal’s forests account for one-third of habitat area within the Himalayan biodiversity hot-spot.

Tawang Monastery in Arunachal Pradesh, is the largest monastery in India and second-largest in the world after the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. The Golden Pagoda of Namsai, in the Tai-Khamti language, is a Burmese-style Buddhist temple that was opened in 2010. The Sela Pass is a high-altitude mountain pass located on the border between the Tawang and West Kameng districts.
Our tour representative will meet and greet you at the Arrive Guwahati airport and drive to Tezpur / Bhalukpong. After reaching, Check-in Hotel. Evening free for your own leisure. Overnight stay will be in Tezpur / Bhalukpong.
Today after breakfast drive to Dirang (180 kms / 08 hrs), reach Dirang and visit the Dirang Dzong and a Monpa village check into the hotel and overnight at Dirang.
Today after breakfast drive to Tawang (160 kms / 08 hrs), en route you will visit Sela Pass and Sela Lake situated at an altitude of 13476 ft. Also visit Jaswant Ghar and before reaching Tawang visit the Nunarang fall. Reach Tawang and check into Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Tawang.
Today after breakfast proceed to visit Bum La Pass, PTso Lake, Madhuri Lake (Sangestar Tso). After visit return back to Hotel. Evening can enjoy shopping. Overnight stay at Tawang Hotel.
After the breakfast proceed to visit Tawang Monastery , Urgelling Monastery – the birth place of Sixth Dalia Lama. Tawang War Memorial, etc. After the visit, transfer to Bomdila. Evening free for your own leisure. Overnight at Bomdila.
Post breakfast drive to Guwahati. If time permits seek blessings at Kamakhya Devi Temple. In time transfer to Guwahati. After reaching at Guwahati, check in at Hotel. Evening can enjoy shopping at Guwahati local market. Overnight stay at Guwahati.
Post breakfast check out from the hotel and in time Drop to Guwahati Airport / Railway station with a sweet memories of Arunachal Pradesh trip.
